Its heart breaking that for so long it was so easy to get up from your chair, just to go to the kitchen and grab a coke from the fridge. It takes our man/womanhood and a little more pride each and every day that it's a struggle.
That's where New Found Hope can play our part. We know and understand the limitations that so many have. We are kind, caring, non-judgemental Care-Givers, not Care-Takers, who give their whole heart, dedicated time and up-most respect to every client as if they are part of our family.

Alzheimer's & Dementia Care

We know letting someone else help care for your loved one who has Alzheimer's and dementia can be very overwhelming and stressful. Rest assured our ladies have the experience and are ready to accept any new challenges that come with a dementia patient.
"Quality of life" is a central goal, more common than not with Dementia patients. We train specifically in the interventions that influence the quality of life to maintain or improve independence as long as possible.
We provide exceptional care that includes, but is not limited to
- Listening to their story.
In some cases, in the early stages, patients like to talk about their experiences and thoughts about their diagnosis.
- Helping and working with OT specialists with exercises that are encouraged while the OT is not in the home.
It has been proven in studies with therapies practiced even when the specialist is not present, has improved functions and self-care by the patient.

We are open and willing to engage in any special instructions and maintain the routine you and your loved ones are comfortable with and would never intrude or guide the patient away from their routine.
